The W San Francisco stands in the heart of downtown San Francisco's South of Market district, adjacent to the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and across from the Moscone Convention Center. Guests are five blocks from Union Square and just steps from an eclectic array of boutiques, theaters and galleries. The Metreon, a new high-tech Sony entertainment center that includes a multi-screen theater, is just one block away, and guests are less than three miles from Chinatown, Fisherman's Wharf and other sights synonymous with San Francisco.

A dramatic octagonal, three-story lobby with tinted solar glass and flowing curtains. The lively, upscale W Café and the XYZ Restaurant provide guests plenty of places for relaxing and dining on American cuisine.

San Francisco is known for its character and the 410 guestrooms have the personality to match. Whimsical and innovative, each room offers a modern, comfortable oasis with all the comforts of home.
